In his mind, the perfect family restaurant would be one that offered fine-dining food every day of the week. Today, Nandhini operates 15 outlets across Bangalore that serve 10,000 happy customers each day.

Nandhini Deluxe was founded by Shri N. Ananda in 1989 in Bangalore, India, and has pioneered authentic Andhra cuisine ever since.

He was determined to introduce to Bangaloreans the true taste of authentic Andhra cuisine with healthy, flavorful food rich in spices and tradition. Guided by his passion and culinary expertise, he envisioned a family restaurant that offered fine-dining quality meals every day of the week.

Today, Nandhini stands as Bangalore’s first and most loved authentic Andhra restaurant chain, known for its mastery of spices, signature dishes, and top Andhra biryani. With 15 outlets serving over 10,000 happy customers daily, Nandhini continues to delight the taste buds of Bangaloreans with authentic flavors made with love.

What began as a humble sweet shop in the City Market area soon evolved into the city’s first restaurant dedicated to authentic Andhra cuisine. The inaugural outlet at Minerva Circle marked the beginning of a culinary movement, introducing Bengaluru to the bold, traditional flavours of Andhra Pradesh.

During the initial years, Nandhini Deluxe established a strong identity built on authenticity, consistency, and cultural pride. The restaurant became synonymous with signature dishes such as Mutton Biryani, Gongura Pachadi, and Sholay Kebab, earning admiration from food enthusiasts across the city. This period marked the formation of the brand’s enduring values—quality, flavour, and heartfelt service.

During this period, Nandhini Deluxe focused on strengthening its culinary standards and operational excellence. The brand refined its family recipes and service model, creating the foundation for a growing restaurant chain.

Entering the new millennium, Nandhini Deluxe expanded strategically to bring authentic Andhra cuisine closer to new communities. Each outlet was designed to reflect the brand’s commitment to heritage while providing a comfortable and refined dining experience.

By the late 2000s, Nandhini Deluxe had become synonymous with Andhra cuisine in Bengaluru. The brand continued expanding while maintaining quality and authenticity, sourcing spices directly from Andhra Pradesh and following traditional cooking methods.

Digital Transformation

Nandhini Deluxe embraced the digital era by becoming one of the first Andhra restaurant chains to partner with Swiggy and Zomato, allowing customers to enjoy authentic Andhra food from the comfort of their homes. The brand’s reach grew significantly while preserving its traditional identity.

Modernization and Recognition

As the dining landscape evolved, Nandhini Deluxe modernized its interiors and enhanced its service experience while upholding tradition. The brand was recognized by Franchise India, Radio City, and Red FM for its excellence and authenticity.

Innovation and Leadership Transition

In recent years, Nandhini Deluxe entered a new phase of innovation and growth. The brand launched its own cloud kitchen network to cater to changing consumer preferences and late-night dining needs. Under the leadership of Mr. Dhanush Srinivas, the third-generation director, Nandhini Deluxe continues to expand regionally and globally while preserving its founding values.

The Flagship Era and Global Vision

In 2025, Nandhini Deluxe unveiled its new flagship restaurant on St. Marks Road, a 6,000 sq. ft. space that represents a blend of tradition and contemporary elegance. The brand also announced upcoming outlets in Whitefield, Yelahanka, and Nagarabhavi, marking continued growth within Karnataka and setting the stage for international expansion to Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, Sydney, and London.
